"I still can’t get over how perfect our wedding was. I feel like it was a fairytale. You thought of every detail and executed them all perfectly. There is not one thing I would change. I feel like you understood exactly what I envisioned, even better than I did, and then made it a reality.
You were so wonderful throughout the whole planning process. I loved our site visits and was always so impressed with how hard you worked. Adam and I were so relaxed on the days leading up to the wedding. We were not stressed or worried for one second; we knew you had everything under control.
I still get excited when I see an email from you; it reminds me how much fun it was to plan the wedding. I wish we could do it all over again. Hiring you was the absolute best decision we made in the entire process."

Eclectic and romantic. The bride and groom are married in an old stone courtyard in front of antique wooden doors. Summery drinks in Moroccan tea glasses, colorful woven fans, Spanish guitars. Long tables draped in natural linens are set beneath strings of lights. Centerpieces of jewel-toned flowers and Mediterranean fruits bring lushness to the desert. A lounge with vintage furniture is tucked away in a grove of palm trees.

"Words cannot begin to express the depth of appreciation we feel towards you. You helped us create and experience the wedding of our dreams -- more magnificent, more magical than we ever imagined it really could be.
It was incredible. You are a creative genius, a master of organization, details, and influence. You brilliantly navigated tricky family dynamics and generously coached, advised, and encouraged. You effortlessly and perfectly got us and our vision, and brought it to life in the most beautiful, elegant, spirit-filled, flowing way possible.
You are outstanding, ridiculously brilliant, talented beyond compare, and even more ridiculously kind. Thank you for coming into our lives and having the impact you have had. We wish you so much joy, success, fulfillment, and of course, lots of love!"

Enchanted and soulfully inspired. A couple honors their family and each other in a deeply moving ceremony. The altar is framed by ethereal grasses and wildflowers. The branches of a manzanita tree, dedicated to the memory of a loved one, watch over gemstone escort cards that guide guests to their tables. A whimsical chandelier made of fresh flowers hangs above the bride and groom as they dance.

"Thank you for making our wedding such a beautiful and memorable experience. You have been fantastic in every way and we are grateful to have had the benefit of your creativity and patience.
Our friends and family loved all your details, from the welcome note waiting for them in their hotel rooms to the clever pashminas on each chair that kept everyone cozy once the sun set. They had a wonderful time.
We wish you the best and will always remember our big day!"

Napa Valley goes glamorous. This black tie wedding at Beaulieu Garden takes Wine Country to a new level of sophistication. The romantic color palette of blush and ivory is tempered by classic black and gray. Metallic touches like antique mirrored trays are subtly luxurious. Peonies fill the dinner arbor, where guests dine beneath hanging candles and twinkle lights. The night ends with a spectacular champagne tower.

"I’m still deliriously happy about our whole wedding experience. I had wanted the wedding to feel really special and creative, and to somehow look as exuberant as I felt.
I was so excited to find a company that excels in artistic events. I think Amy Kaneko Events’ unique background made all the difference. Not only were there gorgeous and meaningful details, but they were able to weave it together into this amazing, flowing experience -- including turning my mom‘s 1,000-crane labor of love into an origami wonderland!
Amy gave us tireless guidance in all aspects, big and small. Everyone savored each minute of the day, which was 100% sheer joy and zero stress thanks to Amy. Can we have our wedding every weekend, please?"

Creativity unleashed. A lawyer-turned-artist embraces a wild garden look for her wedding. Hand-painted signs by the bride (owner of Julie Song Ink) bring the garden estate to life. For the reception, unusual vines, tropical greens, and succulents are mixed in with coral flowers to give an edge to the prettiness. 1,000 paper cranes in various hues are delicately suspended above the dinner tables, creating a riot of color in the air.

"I feel incredibly lucky to have had Amy by my side at my wedding, not just as a wedding planner but also as my wife. Being that she is my best friend and lifelong love, this might be a biased review, but I think if you meet her you will agree.
Amy is truly a Renaissance woman. She is a brilliant designer, painter, and writer. Her creativity shines in everything she does. She is also incredibly organized and efficient, as well as kind and compassionate to everyone.
I've also been by Amy's side as she started Amy Kaneko Events. Our wedding was one of the first that Amy planned completely on her own. Everyone always tells me it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I just smile and say, "It was all Amy." She did everything - from the invitations to the decor to the fine details - and it all came out beautifully."

Pared-down beauty. Inspired by the venue's vertical gardens, a simple ring of succulents marks the altar where the bride and groom are married. Long wooden benches for the ceremony, an eclectic mix of vintage chairs for dinner. The industrial loft space is softened by warm tones and plenty of candlelight. An intimate family-style feast with free-flowing sangria. Who needs flowers with so much atmosphere?

"Amy helped make the best day our lives possible, and we will always be grateful. The wedding day was magical, thanks to Amy’s creativity, good taste, hard work, and ability to listen. She helped us discover our style, visited countless venues, and artistically made our vision real. Amy knew exactly how to create the feeling that we wanted and perfectly balanced rustic and refined elements in the event design. She cared about all the details just as much as we did. She even made our invitations when we could not find ones that we loved.
Along the way, Amy communicated every decision we needed to make, kept us on top of the planning milestones, found the best vendors, and coordinated between everyone (venues, guests, family, caterers, DJs, even my cousins’ band) to make the wedding seamless and keep us stress-free."

A forest fête. The bride and groom are married beneath a chuppah made of birch branches, gauzy fabric, and trailing vines. Bright wildflowers bring a touch of color to the rustic setting. Guests enjoy cocktails in the shade of a massive redwood tree, then venture to a clearing in the woods for a farm-to-table dinner. The groom’s relatives perform classic hits in the stone ruins of an old barrel cellar.

From sketching the custom chuppah to laying out a floorplan with a great flow, you crafted a gorgeous and highly original vision for our wedding that completely exceeded our expectations. Redefining Vegas. A stunning white wonderland is created for a nighttime wedding. The showstopping chuppah, inspired by a weeping willow tree, has a canopy of blossoms that catch the light. An electric violin plays for the bride’s dramatic entrance. For the reception, nature is brought indoors with towering centerpieces and a projection of gently swaying branches. Long taper candles and raw silk linens complete the elegant scene.

"Amy is extremely professional, remains calm and poised under pressure, and has exceptional design taste. She is a creative problem solver and always challenges the status quo. Amy always had our best interests in mind when making decisions on our behalf.
She is a wonderful communicator -- she provided the most detailed timeline of events for our wedding weekend, which helped us and our vendors understand where we needed to be and at what time.
Amy was able to translate our vision into the most beautiful day of our lives, including designing the most perfect wedding ceremony on the beach. Most importantly, we trusted Amy completely with any and all decisions!"

Simple but sublime. A raw wood altar minimally draped with passion vine and stephanotis frames the ocean. The bride walks barefoot down the aisle, which is dotted with soft beach grasses. The spiritual ceremony is in keeping with Hawaiian tradition. Afterwards, husband and wife toast their ivory-clad guests on the sand and watch the sunset. A spectacular sparkler exit is a festive end to this tropical destination wedding.
